A specialist in made-to-measure lampshade making, the Maison Tricard workshop hand-crafts each piece using the traditional techniques of the lampshade maker: sewn, laminated, banded-pleat or "juponné" (flounced) shades. For every creation, an exceptional fabric is selected from the finest designer collections, matched to the interior décor and the style of the light fixture to be dressed.

The workshop works with five main families of materials, each bringing a different mood: cotton, soft and breathable, for natural light; linen, with a chic, authentic texture; silk, sumptuous and precious; jute, rustic and bohemian; and velvet, opulent, for a warm atmosphere. This collection is regularly updated with new additions, and the workshop works both with its own fabrics and with fabrics supplied or specified by clients, particularly for projects carried out with decorators and interior designers.
